July 17, 2010 - 6:25 pm --- day one---it all begins---

How did God put it in Genesis??
In the beginning...

The difference is I am not God and therefore it is going to take me more than one day to create a healthy body. Why would I blog something like this? I want to blog this adventure for the following reasons.
  1. I know I am not alone
  2. It will keep me going
  3. Although it is possible... it is unlikely that anyone else will read this... but in the chance that someone does I am hoping they find some sort of encouragement through my journey...if not encouragement at least I hope you find a good laugh.
If you happen to stumble across my blog, actually read it and decide to follow it:
This is what you should expect in the days to come:

Daily updates on:
  • the definite mishaps and blunders that are yet to come( I can guarantee some laughs )
  • whether (or not) I have actually completed my workout routine.
  • emotions and feelings of the day
  • other little interesting events that have happened in my day(I tend to run into the oddest thing-- you wont want to miss this)
Weekly Updates on:
Weight, chest size, waist size and hip size....

In 90days (after I receive my P90X):
I will post both before and after pics... despite any accomplishments or lack there of...lol

It seems to me that the first day on any adventure is to pick a starting point... a beginning of sorts.

So here is my beginning:

Height: 5'4" Weight: 177.6lbs Chest: 42" Waist: 38" Hips: 45"

...and of course one receipt for P90X system.

I am not sure how long it will take for the P90X system to arrive in the mail but I will start by adding bike riding into my current workouts until the "package" arrives.

My current workout pattern is: Tae Kwon Do 2x a week (not much but it is not nothing either)

Where there is a beginning logically there is also an ending. The ending at this point only has questions. What will the end look like? What will it feel like? When will I arrive at the end?

Current Emotions?
Currently I am experiencing at least 5 mixed emotions.
There is
  • Anticipation for what is to come.
  • Excitement for a new adventure.
  • Apprehension: Can I really do this?
  • Fear: What if I fail?
Which leads to
  • Determination: By the grace of God I can and will do this!
